“This website has been funded by “South Somerset Together”, a Local Strategic Partnership made up of the private, business, community and voluntary sectors.

The partnership aims to involve all sections of the local community to improve the quality of life in South Somerset.

This involves listening to what local people say about education, employment, housing, shops, crime, and leisure facilities for example.

By operating at such a local level, “South Somerset Together” enables strategic decisions to be taken, and can influence, or bring about changes and improvements local people want to see.

And all those involved in the partnership ensure that different initiatives and the services provided support each other and work together.
