The borough of Taunton Deane is a mixed urban and rural district within Somerset, covering 178 square miles and home to a population of just over 100,000. There are approximately 45,000 dwellings and 4,000 businesses within the borough. The main borough council officers are based at the Deane House in Taunton.

There are excellent links to the national highway and rail networks enable easy access to most major cities, air and sea ports. There is a comprehensive range of commercial sites and high quality, modern buildings are available at affordable prices or competitive rental levels in appropriate locations in Taunton Deane.

It also has a growing local economy with an established and rapidly expanding range of professional, financial and other business support services plus a very successful retail shopping and an established tourist industry.
