The borough of Taunton Deane is a mixed urban and rural district within
Somerset, covering 178 square miles and home to a population of just over
100,000. There are approximately 45,000 dwellings and 4,000 businesses within
the borough. The main borough council officers are based at the Deane House in
Taunton.
